[Desoto]

Desoto had been a very busy bee. He managed to get a job as a Captain of one of the ships of FEB and there were other things that he was slyly doing behind Kirah's back. It was a surprise but eventually she would figure that something was up due to the fact that he arrived at home, in Kirah's room, every night exhausted. As soon as his head hit the pillow he was out like a light. It was so hard for Soto to keep these things from the love of his life but he managed to do so until the day that he was ready to tell her.

It was morning in Kirah's room. Soto felt comfortable in her room but it was still not his. He longed to be in a place that he built for her and it would then be considered theirs. Having a bungalow would truly mark the beginning of their life together. After that Soto assumed that they would be married and then they could start a family. The male was a traditionalist but with Kirah it was different. He always knew that she was his soul mate and he always considered her his mate even if it wasn't legal. Still though he wanted to wait to have children until after they were married, which will be within the next week if he has anything to say about it.

The male wolf got up and slipped out of the room before Kirah could wake up. He had a few more things to do before he could surprise her with their new home. Perhaps she would be alarmed when she got up and he was gone but there was little that Desoto could do about it if he wanted the house to be a surprise. He only hoped that she didn't think that he was having an affair or something.

Kirah Lovestorm

Kirah hadnt been very busy her work didnt allow it. Surely she would have something to do at the vet, or people werent doing much to their animals as they used to or this was her lucky past few weeks. The past couple of days went by like a blur or should it be more like a dream she got to share her bed not only that but got to share it with the most handsome brute ever.

That morning Kirah felt the bed bend slightly as Soto once more left it. She knew he was busy looking for a job not only that he came home dead tired. She loved him each and everyday more and more and couldnt help but smile and kiss him when he came back to bed. Normally when he came home she had been asleep for awhile but it didnt bother her. Maybe he had found some type of partime and didnt know if he wanted to do that so he hadnt told her. Or perhaps he was hiding something which that single thought disturbed her greatly. Kirah slowly rolled on her side sliding from the bed today she would go into town to shop for some fruits after all today she was off from work.

Kirah had been stopped on the street that very evening looking at various fruits on a vendors stand but stopped short. An old widowed otter placed a absent hand on her tummy and looked her in the eyes. Sure this gesture creeped her out some but hell why had she done it and looked deep into her eyes. However the old otter spoke in old tone with a hint of Scottish background to it. "Lass how far along are yee?" This frightened Kirah slightly not knowing if this old otter was crazy or just plum bothersome. "Um madam I do not know what you speak of" Kirah said very stubbornly setting her jaw in defiant manner. The old otter looked at her and arched an eyebrow with question at her. "Lass I may be old, but I am not stupid ive had six kits of my own. I have that mothers intuition I guess ye would call it but you definable have that blooming mothers aura hmm perhaps you've been seeing a handsome brute aye?" said the female otter. Kirah was dumbfounded this otter woman thought she was pregnant well it could be true and put a cold brick in her tummy. She couldnt support a kid on her salary for as she knew Soto was still looking for a job. This worried her greatly and her amber orbs were wide with fear this widow otter knew Kirah had to get away. Sure enough the wolfess turned on her heels and ran all the way back home where she collapsed at the table to only get a curious look from her sister...A look Kirah did not meet with her own.

Desoto was totally beat by the time he made it back to Kirah's room. His tail was dragging but he still managed to get some dinner from the Tavern for the both of them and some flowers for his lovely bride to be. It was a very good day. As a matter of fact the meals were free, for reasons that only a few knew about yet. Heck! Word did pass quickly. Surely the whole Fort knew by now that he was the new Captain of the Star Gazer. This excited him and he just couldn't wait to get back to tell Kirah. Now he was a male that was worth marrying!

Quietly Soto slipped through the door. He held his paw on it as he closed it. Of course it creaked enough for the male to clench his teeth and silently cursed the door but he also knew that Kirah would need to wake up to eat anyway. But still he wanted her to wake up in his arms. Perhaps he could still pull this one off. He grinned to himself and placed the food on the table, along with his new Captain uniform.

The male quickly undressed and then slipped into bed. His arms easily snaked around his lover as he pulled her into him, her back into his broad chest. Surely this would bring her a chill but their body heat would soon make them both warm and toasty. Lovingly he kissed her on the neck repeatedly. "Kirah? Are you awake my love? I brought you some food to eat. Are you hungry?" Soto pressed his body into hers, hoping to spark a sensual reaction from her.

Kirah had went to bed shortly after arriving home. She had felt vaguely sick from what the widowed otter told her. Surely she knew her sister was worried about her but she said she needed to lay down due to a headache. However once she made it to her room she felt her pulse in her throat thoughts racing through her mind. 'what if i am?' ' Will Soto be mad?' 'Would I be a good mother?' She knew she had to keep this to herself until she was more than certain she was. No signs she saw yet but then again she knew not the signs of pregnancy for she had never been around a mother figure. She pulled herself away from her bedroom door and walked slowly over to her bed grabbing her silken robe donning it on feeling much more comfortable now she slid into bed. She sighed deeply and slipped into a light fitful slumber. Shortly after she heard Soto enter her room. This brought a delicate smile to her lovely lips but she squeaked as his lips teased her throat and his cold body touched her warmed body. A sensual growl slipped from her lips and she rolled over in his arms where she now faced him curiously with amber orbs.

"Mmm love your home kind of late and yes Im ravenous" she said her stomach growling in protest. This kind of mad Kirahs ears plaster to her head in embarrassment. She curled up next to him them and sighed in relief that he was back in her arms and then kissed his cheek. "I missed you while you were gone did you have any luck dear?"

Desoto grinned when Kirah's body gave into his advances. There was nothing like being able to have that kind of affect on your female. It also helped that he wasn't a greedy lover like alot of males were. Soto loved to see Kirah pleasured. He loved to see the expressions on her face, hear the sounds that she made and feel her body move. At times he felt like he was working with clay, molding and shaping it. But of course this was much more pleasurable.

She kissed him on the cheek but she wasn't going to get away with that. The brute chuckled lowly and as soon as she was done responding to him and asking him questions he dove in for a long tempting kiss as his body stirred in closer to her. He didn't answer her inquiry at first. Instead he concentrated on 'them'. "Do you know how much I love you Kirah? You drive me crazy. No female has ever made me feel like this before. I want you every second of the day and night. When I am away from you I think about you constantly." His paws snaked around her body and touched her in secret places, trying to get a reaction from her.

After her body squirmed under his touch he groaned and was forward enough to take off her night gown. If she protested to such actions he would stop. As he advanced even further he then shared with her what he day had gifted him with. "Mmmm... You'll be happy to know that you are now the mate of a Captain. I spoke with Brooke and she assigned me to the Star Gazer. Do you like sailing on a ship?" He hoped that she did because he planned on taking her on trips with him. After all it was an exploratory ship and likely they wouldn't run into much trouble with other beasts. Soto felt that it would be safe enough.

Kirah couldnt help the way her body responded to him. It was as if their chemistry was so strong that nature could not stop the effects of their love. Kirah was madly in love with this brute and she was very well aware of his sudden arousal and the sudden hungry gleam in his eyes he wanted her again. Surely he knew she craved his touch more than anything but there it was that females otters voice in the back of her head swimming around 'how far along are yee' obviously not that far along Kirah wasnt even sure she was.

So she ignored that and focused on the intimate moment in front of her face with her love and handsome brute. Warm amber orbs met his eager gaze with her own passion surely enough he touched her and his touch seemed to ignite something deep in her like it was searing her skin in a very good way. When his lips met her in that fire burning passionate kiss it ignited the burning ember into a full blown wave of pleasure and ecstasy almost like a roaming wild fire. She met his kiss with her own fiery one lips molding to his own as if a lock and key the sweet taste of him so warm and wet inside her own mouth. His scent was engulfed as her nostrils flared with the hint of sea salt and underneath that all masculine it was homey and then again it was Soto.

She felt him pull away slightly to only speak to her questions she had asked before. She was dazed didnt really hear it at first until she focused more on him. She heard every word he said then and it made her heart want to sail the seven seas and come back to earth. A loving smile lit on her delicate maw as her arms snaked around his neck and she pressed her curves into the contours of his masculine body making him want her even more. Then she finally felt his probing hands she was more than ready and once again met his lips with her own fiery kiss wanting him more than anything.

He stopped once more having her waiting and wanting as if he were teasing her very being and she felt like jumping his bones to just shush him. After all she was laying here unclothed in only in presence his eyes looking at her her heart beat throbbing in her throat the little area between her legs throbbing with each beat. Indeed it felt as if his teasing would never stop but it did for a moment. Hearing he had a job brought her harks up and a smile to her face "Oh my love that is wonderful I would love to go out with you on the waters" she said breathlessly.

She knew she would enjoy every adventure with him. She was very sure that their future would hold many pleasurable moments as well as sad but it would only make their relationship stronger. Kirah broke from her train of thought looking up into his face again bringing a paw up to stroke his cheek. He was so handsome and she wondered how she had ended up with a brute as good as him. Surely if she hadn't ran away she would have been betrothed and married and with little pups running around by now by force it wouldnt have been willing. Kirah was to wild a spirit and her father had known that. "My love if only you knew how much I craved you right now you would stop talking and just fix this severe need I have for you" she said with a hint of teasing to her voice.

Desoto felt when her glowing ember became a bursting flame. He felt the heat coming from her body and he could smell her fertility. It drove him wild. The animalistic side of him was breaking forth as his targeted attentions with his fingers only intensified their endeavors. And indeed he was very aware of that throbbing.

Her paw traveled up to his face. He sighed and let his eyes close as his head leaned into her touch. Before her paw could fall away he turned to kiss it's pads, licking them with his tongue. She then told him that she wanted him to quench her craving. Soto laughed and got up on his knees, throwing the covers and pillows off of the bed until they were free enough to move all over.

A few moments he stared down at her as he used his left paw to push her body to the middle of their bed. He straddled her thighs and began to massage her body, starting with the things that were lower then her naval. Of course he would lean in to kiss her but most of all he wanted to watch her, to please her and for her to just lay there and enjoy his roving paws and his trailing kisses. Oh yes he kissed her all over, tasted every inch of her body. Soto wanted to make her squirm until she burst.
